Named the Mirage because it's too good to be true! The Mirage is the first design by Kangook America exclusively available in the USA. The Mirage is based on the incredible geometry of the Amaruk with a straight carbon fiber and aluminum cage. This style of cage helps to minimize the cost of spares while providing an incredibly stiff and rigid cage. All attention has been placed on performance and ergonomics and this frame has been optimized in every possible way!
Mirage Features!
The Kangook America Mirage features a 140cm cage. The netting is a 0.8mm ultra high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) about twice as strong as Kevlar was selected specifically for our new frame. The new netting is incredibly strong while minimizing area for reduced drag. The netting installed with a single 2mm line eliminating the need to replace rivets in the unlikely event the netting needs to be replaced. The 140cm cage easily accommodates propellers up to 130cm in diameter. The engine is mounted directly to purpose built welded engine mounts eliminating any unnecessary weight and loss of strength from engine adapters. The frame readily accepts the Vittorazi Moster 185 (all versions) as well as the Vittorazi atom 80 so you are able to swap between engines at any time. Like the Amaruk, the engine location has been optimized to place the weight as close to your back as possible! The frame is reinforced and uses the mounting for the popular stainless-steel swing arms or the new Kangook Kobra style arms. The frame geometry provides maximum strength while also enhancing safety by maximizing netting coverage of the cage where it matters most!
